Privacy Policy

At HTAP, LLC (“Vino-Versity”), protecting the privacy of customers and clients is of great importance. This Privacy Policy explains the type of personal information Vino-Versity collects, how Vino-Versity uses and discloses that information, and how Vino-Versity protects that personal information.

  1. Customers and Clients.  Vino-Versity collects certain personal information about clients and customers.“Clients” are businesses and business owners that engage Vino-Versity to provide web-based remote ordering services. “Customers” are individuals that place orders from Vino-Versity clients through the Vino-Versity system. “Personal information” is any information that identifies or may identify a user as a specific individual, including name, address, zip code, phone number and email address, as well as order history.
  2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information.  Vino-Versity will not disclose any personal information about any Customer or Client to any person or entity except (i) Vino-Versity will share personal information about a Customer with the Client from whom the customer places an order, (ii) Vino-Versity may provide personal information to its vendors and suppliers when necessary, (iii) Vino-Versity may share certain personal information with its affiliates in order to complete transactions, and (iv) Vino-Versity may release personal information to comply with law, enforce or apply the terms of any of user agreement, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Vino-Versity, customers and clients, or others.
  3. Safeguards.  The security of personal information is very important to Vino-Versity. Vino-Versity combines industry-standard technical safeguards with an employee code of conduct and training to help ensure the integrity and privacy of personal information.  Only authorized Vino-Versity employees, agents or independent contractors are permitted to access personal information, and all such employees, agents or independent contractors must agree in writing to abide by the Privacy Policy.
  4. Customer Service.  Vino-Versity’s customer service representatives may occasionally contact Customers only at the request of the Client and Clients themselves by email to gather information about their experiences with Vino-Versity’s service. These surveys are intended to help Vino-Versity give its Customers the best possible customer service and are only conducted when requested by Client and at the permission of the Customer. 
  5. Privacy Choices.  Customers will be given the option to opt-out of receiving recurring informational and promotional e-mails from the clients of Vino-Versity.  Customers will also be given the option to opt-out of receiving emails from Vino-Versity customer service representatives on behalf of the Client for the purpose of conducting surveys about Customers’ experiences with Vino-Versity.
  6. Deleting or Updating Personal Information.  Customers and Clients may always contact Vino-Versity to (i) delete their personal information from Vino-Versity’s systems; (ii) update their personal information; or (iii) change their preferences with respect to marketing contacts, by emailing Vino-Versity at TheDean@vinoversity.com
  7. Subordination of Vino-Versity Privacy Policy.  Upon written notice from Client, Vino-Versity will accept and enforce the privacy policies of the Client in any area where the Client’s privacy policy is preferred over Vino-Versity’s Privacy Policy.
