From 4pm to 8pm, come in and taste an array of LOCAL (Hudson Valley, Lawngisland, Finger Lakes) and/or ORGANIC AND SUSTAINABLE wines from around the world!
Taste how DELICIOUS (not weird) they are, and learn the differences between (and benefits of) Sustainable, Organic, and Bio-Dynamic agriculture. Also, take home a pamphlet from "Barefoot Organics at Greystone Farm", a local USDA Certified Organic CSA (Community Sustained Agriculture) program, which explains how local Organic produce is farmed, and is available in the city! Event Description, Calendar, and Themes
Any time from 7:00-8:30pm, taste mini-martinis and compare the quality and flavors of artisanal spirits and popular brands. Our "Spirit Expert" will pour and explain the nuances of different Scotches one week, or pour and share recipes for South American drinks like Pisco Sours and Caipirinhas another week. Each Friday will have a different theme, in a social walk-around "cocktail party" format. An eye-opening and mouth-opening sipping experience!
